Theme 2.11.0

In order to react to the current legal situation and to protect you from a warning, we have adjusted a basic setting.

1. Check theme configuration

In order to protect you from the current wave of warnings regarding the external integration of Google Fonts, we have deactivated the "Load fonts from Google" setting for external loading of fonts by default.

At the same time, we have included the preset fonts as theme fonts in the theme, if they were not already part of the theme fonts. So now you can use all the preset fonts in our themes without worrying about the Theme fonts configuration.

Disabling the default Load fonts from Google option will cause you to check your settings and adjust them if necessary.

I have not configured the font setting differently

If you haven't made any changes in this area yet, you will only notice that the fonts values moved from Custom Fonts to the configuration field of the Theme Fonts. There is nothing else to do here.

I previously loaded a Google Font from Google

If you obtained a self-selected custom font from e.g. Google before the update and want to continue to obtain it, you can reactivate the connection to Google by activating the check box Load fonts from Google (2). In addition, in the Font-type text (3) or Font-type headlines (3) field, select that you want to use a custom font.

I have already implemented a local font

If you have already implemented a local font before the update, select in the Font-type text (3) or Font-type headline (3) field that you want to use a custom font. Then leave the check mark Load fonts from Google (2) deactivated.

2. Update child theme

Shopware has revised the loading of text modules in update 6.4.17.0. This leads to the fact that when using a child theme, the text modules are not resolved into the text. So please update your child theme.
