# Category Icons

> from theme version 4.7.0

Via the **custom fields** under Catalogues > Categories > \[Select category] in the tab "Additional" you will find a media field **Category Icon (1)** for configuring the icon.

<figure><img src="/files/dWC2aj7EwmGJYtbqaOiV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Use conventional JPG or PNG files for this. SVG files can be integrated and displayed even better, for example in the form of icons. In our demos, for example, we simply use the icons from [Ionicons](https://ionic.io/ionicons) and save the SVG file directly on the page.

#### Theme configuration

In the theme configuration, the icons in each menu can be configured in terms of display and size.

* Settings in tab: Header > Mein navigation > [Category icons](/en/styling/header/main-navigation.md#category-icons)
* Settings in tab: Header > Flyout navigation > [Category icons](/en/styling/header/flyout-navigation.md#category-icons)
* Settings in tab: Header > Dropdown navigation > [Category icons](/en/styling/header/dropdown-navigation.md#category-icons)
* Settings in tab: Components > Sidebar navigation > [Category icons](/en/styling/components/sidebar-navigation.md#category-icons)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://themedocs.zenit.design/en/content/category/category-icons.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
