# Custom footer columns

{% hint style="info" %}
Unlike the **styling** configuration (theme configuration), the settings of a theme are always stored in the parent theme. A child theme does not have its own area with settings.

[**Where can I find the theme settings?**](/en/master.md#step-5-settings-plugin-app-configuration)
{% endhint %}

## Set up

In these settings you can implement up to three global columns in the footer. Each column has a **Title (2)** and a **Content (3)**. The content can be populated with different content per sales channel. In these columns you can enter simple texts or seals/badges of trust providers.
