Text is not visible / readable
Problem description
Due to the additional function Category image in header area, it can happen that unintentional settings are made which only lead to an acceptable result when using a fill color or a category image. The problem then often looks as follows:
Although all variables (Text Color and Light Text Color) are set correctly, white text is displayed on a light or even white background.
Explanation
In the category settings, configurations for the display of a Background color (1) and the Display category image (2) as well as a Text contrast (3) can be made in the custom fields.
As soon as one of the fields Background color (1) or Display category image (2) contains a value, the first section of the assigned experience world becomes a "Hero Section". To set the contrast on an image or background color for this category, the configuration from Text contrast (3) now takes effect.
Solution
Make sure that Display category Image (2) is not selected in the category and the Background color (1) does not contain a value if you do not want to use the category images feature in the header area in this category.
Note: The Display category image (2) setting is also available as a global setting in the theme configuration as Display category image (1). If this option is already active in the theme settings and the Display category image (2) option is set to the Inherited value, the first section of the assigned experience world is also treated as a Hero section.
